Guidelines Visit:

Due to present pandemic situation, Temple is following the CDC guidelines strictly. The following are the guidelines for temple visit. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED.

From Oct 7th to Oct 14 is the Navaratri period. From 10/7 - 10/10, visitors should visit the temple as per normal temple timings. From 10/11 - 10/15, visitors will be allowed only with pre-registration.


The following are the guidelines to be strictly followed for Devotees planning to visit temple during Puja days October 11-15, October 19th and Nov 3rd. Any impact on any changes in the CDC rules/restrictions will be updated in this page. So please visit this page before your visit to the temple and make sure you follow all the guidelines given below.

There are limited number of devotes that are allowed inside the temple premise. Devotees SHOULD Pre-Register online using the link given in the schedule above. No walk-ins will be allowed under any circumstances.

To accommodate the expected number of devotees, each slot is for a maximum of 20 minutes from entering the main temple.

No sitting arrangement will be available.

Please note that for each slot temple will allow a max of 35 visitors.

Visitors must follow the below guidelines:

  • Devotees who are 12 yrs. and above of age, must be FULLY VACCINATED and present their Vaccine card at the time of check-in. No exceptions (even if someone is a regular visitor).
  • All visitors are required to follow CDC and Maryland Department of Health Guidelines related to COVID-19. All visitors must wear MASKS and maintain "Social Distancing (at least 6 feet)" during their entire visit.
  • Will arrive at least 10 minutes before for finding a parking and check-in.
  • WILL LOSE VISITING-SPOT IF VISITORS ARE LATE. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. VISITORS HAVE TO RE-REGISTOR FOR ANY AVAILABLE SLOT FOR NEXT DAY.
  • All visitors must come during their allocated timeslot for entry to the Temple. No exceptions can be made.
  • All visitors must show id AND Email proof of their registration.
  • Visitors are discouraged from making multiple bookings per day using different email id's. If such entries are found, the temple committee has the right to cancel both reservations. However, a devotee can make reservation for visit on different days.
  • A Maximum of 6 members are allowed to register per family/friends. All accompanying names should be provided in the comment box of the registration process.
  • Once checked in, each member should form a line to enter the temple following signs of entry and maintaining social distancing (at least 6 feet). The visitor should always follow the line from entry to exit points and should not exit the line.
  • Before entering the temple, there will be provision for sanitization (hand wash / hand sanitizer).
  • Sarees/non-perishable items can be put in Quarantine box kept along the line of visit.
  • No food will be served in the temple during this year's puja for visitors.


ATTENTION: COVID 19 DECLARATION

By registering to visit the Temple, I agree to comply to the following at the time of check-in for my appointment:

  • I affirm that all individuals aged 12 yrs and above are FULLY VACCINATED and will present vaccination card at the time of check-in.
  • I understand the COVID 19 symptoms (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea) and affirm that I and family members I am registering and all our households (includes the same for friends and other members I am registering), do not currently have, nor have experienced the symptoms listed above within the last 14 days.
  • I affirm that I, as well as all household members, have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days prior to my appointment date and time.
  • I affirm that I, as well as all household members, have not knowingly been exposed to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
  • I affirm that I, as well as all household members and members (and other members I am registering and their households), have not traveled outside of the country or to any city considered to be a "hot spot" for COVID-19 infections within the past 30-days.
  • I understand that [Washington Kali Temple, Burtonsville, MD] cannot be held liable for any exposure to the COVID-19 virus caused by misinformation on this form or the health history provided by each client.

By registering my name below, I agree to each statement above and understand & accept the risk due to unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19 as a result of my visit to the Temple. I agree that when I arrive and check-in for my scheduled visit to the temple, I would comply with all the guidelines for the temple visit. I also declare that from the time of registration to the time of appointment if I or any of my accompanying team members listed here tests positive or symptomatic, I will immediately cancel my appointment or let know WKT to cancel my appointment.



Donations: If any devotee wants to offer donation either by cash or check, they can put them in the designated donation box. The credit card machine will also be available in case anybody wants to do a payment through credit card. Please wipe the credit card machine with sanitizer wipe before leaving the station.
