A Journey into Language, Culture & Tradition

Washington Kali Temple is pleased to announce that it will continue to offer BENGALI language classes to all interested students at the K-12 age level at the Temple premises for the academic year 2025-26.

History & Accomplishments: In April 2004 the WKT biweekly children’s class met for the first time. Since then we have covered such topics as puja celebration, history of the Indian subcontinent and Ramayana / Mahabharata stories. With small group instruction and educational games, kids of all levels are making progress in language, both written and spoken. The students practice meditation and uplifting songs, display holiday artwork, and enjoy occasional visits from special guest teachers.

  • Please make your checks payable to “Washington Kali Temple”, and write the name of your child on the check.
